About Riglair

Riglair is a site about PC gaming on a budget. It answers one question over and over: will this game run on your PC, and is it worth playing?

What you'll find here

  • Games: free PC games, what they need to run, how much space they take and which one to pick.
  • Low-End PC: settings and expectations for older or modest PCs and laptops.
  • Hardware: budget parts and which upgrades are worth the money.
  • Builds: entry-level PC builds.

Who writes it

Riglair is a one-person site, written and edited under the name Noah. There is no team and no lab behind it.

How the guides are made

  • Sourced, not tested. System requirements, storage sizes and platforms come from the publishers' own pages and store listings, and each guide lists its sources with dates.
  • No invented numbers. Riglair does not run its own benchmarks, so you won't find frame rates or "after 40 hours" claims made up here. Where player reports are used, they are linked.
  • Kept up to date. Requirements change with game updates. Each guide shows when it was last updated; if you spot something out of date, tell me.

How Riglair makes money

Riglair is funded by affiliate links. Some Play buttons and banners on the site are partner links: if you get or sign up for a game through one of them, Riglair may earn a commission, at no cost to you. The games covered are free to play.

Riglair is not the publisher of any game and is not affiliated with, endorsed by or sponsored by the studios mentioned. Partner links never change what a guide says about whether a game will run on your PC.
